Water Process

The Treatment of Wastewater in the last few years has become a prime concern within the environment. The purification of water is crucial for our ecosystem to exist. Many processes in a Wastewater treatment plant are designed to mimic the natural treatment processes that occur within the environment. This is why this Industry is strictly regulated. The objective is to produce a water stream (or treated effluent) and a solid waste or slurry, suitable for discharge back into the environment.

Vulcan offer a wide range of Wastewater seals designed specifically to accommodate the aggressive processes of Wastewater treatment. Our mechanical seals can fully withstand all Wastewater treatment processes, from thick sludge to flowing water, thus eliminating the need for demanding gland packing.
